Can data concerning the current state of budget implementation be imported to Hadrone software for use in external systems, (e.g. ERP)?

Yes. Hadrone allows for the integration with external systems using the web service mechanism from which various types of data can be downloaded, including financial data to be used to present the current state of the implementation of the financial plan divided into services and clients.

How can costs be analysed using Hadrone software?

Hadrone uses a cost management concept which enables the analysis of IT costs from numerous perspectives

  • business IT costs,
  • technical IT costs divided into IT environment layers,
  • IT costs divided into categories (e.g. salaries, services of external firms, premises, depreciation)—the categories of costs can be configured,
  • direct, indirect and full IT costs,
  • IT costs divided into clients.

Hadrone enables reviewing costs, from aggregate values to detailed ones, and the analysis of costs is much easier with the use of the graphic data presentation mode.

Can IT costs be allocated in Hadrone software to clients using IT services?

Yes. The data structure in the system allows for an easy and quick graphic analysis of sources of costs, i.e. which elements of the IT environment and in what part were allocated to a particular client using the service.

How are individual costs of IT services planned?

The cost of each service is calculated in the system as the total of the direct cost of a particular IT service and appropriately allocated parts of subordinate services which are required for the provision of a particular service (indirect costs). Costs are allocated using a customisable mechanism of allocation and based on appropriately defined relations between services.

Does Hadrone software enable planning IT costs?

Yes. Hadrone has the functionality of managing financial plans. Such a plan is defined for a particular year and divided into quarters of months, approved. and then its implementation is reported.

Does Hadrone enable the determination of responsibility for the provision of IT services?

Yes. Hadrone allows you to define entities responsible for the provision of certain services (business, technical, external suppliers) as well as entities which are the recipients of individual business and technical services.

Additionally, Hadrone allows you to attribute functions connected with responsibility for the provision of services to individual persons.

Does the software enable the definition of relations between IT services?

Yes. In Hadrone there are relations specified between individual services defines within various layers of the IT environment or within the same layer. The relations have fundamental significance for the remaining functionalities of the system. For instance, a certain business IT service can comprise several technical IT services (e.g. applications), while the proper functioning of the application service would require indicating subsequent technical services which are necessary for its functioning. A different module in the system calculates and automatically updates the costs of IT services by using the predefined relations and customisable mechanisms of allocation of costs of individual services.

What kind of services can be defined in Hadrone software?

You can define numerous types of services in Hadrone which are functioning in different layers of the IT environment. For instance, from the perspective of the value of IT services for the Business you could define:

  • business IT services, i.e. those, which are useful from the perspective of a business recipient (an organisational unit within the same enterprise or an external firm),
  • technical IT services, i.e. those, which are required for the proper functioning of business IT services,
  • services of external suppliers which are required for the proper functioning of business and technical IT services.

From the perspective of layers of the IT environment in which individual IT services are functioning you could define:

  • technical infrastructure services (basic power supply, back up power supply, emergency power supply, services connected with managing temperature in technical premises, etc.),
  • technical infrastructure services (basic power supply, back up power supply, emergency power supply, services connected with managing temperature in technical premises, etc.),
  • data processing services (appropriately grouped database environments used by various applications),
  • application services (both for interactive applications as well as batch applications),
  • etc.

You can freely create environment layers in which you will define IT services using the Hadrone system. The structure and the number of defined layers should be derived from the IT environment architecture reflected in the system.
